Photos from our recent visit to the Roozengaarde at the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival. Officially inaugurated in 1984 the Skagit Valley Tulip festival grew from humble beginnings and is now one of the destination events for the Pacific Northwest for Spring. It runs through the month of April in Mt Vernon, WA and thousands of people come to enjoy this celebration of spring. The festival is designed like a driving tour with tulip fields scattered all through the valley but a favorite spot is the Roozengarde.
