Gift Idea: Photo books as gifts

Hey sweet readers, you might remember the yearbooks I am making for our photos from here. I thought I’d also share these ones that I got made for my mom as gifts. I just recently ordered these with photos from our last two trips to see them and love how they have turned out! Sometimes it is really hard to find that perfect gift for our families and this is a great idea for such times, for the grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins in your kids lives.

I have mostly used Shutterfly in the past but recently ordered this one above from MyPublisher and have only good things to say about the experience! Here’s a glimpse.

(Update: MyPublisher has shut down since then, but there are many more services now eg: Artifact Uprising / MPix / Chatbooks etc.)

And here’s my secret;) If you’ve subscribed to the mailing lists, you’ll get to know of the Free Photo Book promotions that usually occur a few times every year which makes for a perfect time to order these. All you pay for is the shipping and the time that goes in finding and choosing the photos. It is so totally worth it and usually the way I order most of my photo books as gifts.

A few ideas that make wonderful Photo Books for loved ones.

1: A Yearbook of your baby/kid’s growth and major milestones / events / celebrations from that year.

2: Photo diary from a recent vacation.

3: Maybe your family visited you recently? A photo book of your time spent together makes for a wonderful keepsake.

4: Similarly, your last visit to them, or family reunion also makes for the perfect photo book.
